Music Plus and Hit The Road 2017

HIT THE ROAD and MUSIC PLUS NOW OPEN for APPLICATIONS from young people age 14-19 yrs old interested in Music. Hit The Road is a youth music touring initiative, and Music Plus is a mentoring project. Both are run by the Scottish Music Centre, and funded by Creative Scotland’s Youth Music Initiative (YMI) with Hit The Road also benefiting from support through PRS for Music Foundation. Both initiatives have helped nurture and develop the careers of hundreds of young people living in Scotland 14-19 years old including;  KLOE, Model Aeroplanes, JR Green, Indigo Velvet, Man of Moon, Lewis Capaldi, Be Charlotte, TAMZENE, Emme Woods, Scope, Iona Fyfe music bloggers Vinyl Noise and are now OPEN for applications for 2017.APPLY at: http://hittheroad.org.uk  and http://musicplus.org.uk For media enquiries please email: Derick Mackinnon
