Humour are the latest cool young, punk-inflected act hailing from Scotland that is creating a genuinely exciting buzz in music industry circles.
Andreas Christodoulidis (vocals), Ross Patrizio (guitar), Jack Lyall (guitar), Ruairidh Smith (drums) and Lewis Doig (bass) have performed together in various bands over the years, but with Humour it finally seems like they’ve arrived. The quintet have enjoyed playlist support from Spotify, Apple and Amazon, picked up airplay on Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X and had the likes of NME, Brooklyn Vegan, DIY, DORK and Glasgow’s Tenement TV singing their praises.
They’ve just wrapped up a tour of mainland Europe, including Left of the Dial festival in Rotterdam and multiple shows in France. Their debut EP is released via So Young Records (home to Vlure, Been Stellar, Lime Garden) on 25 November and they play London’s Sebright Arms the day before, Manchester’s YES on 25 November, Glasgow’s Nice N Sleazy’s on 26 November and Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s on 3 December visit https://humour1.bandcamp.com/
